Many of us know that Bibi Fatima sa., always loved to pray for others. In many hadith it says she would pray for others before her own self, she would pray for her neighbors and all around her and then herself and her family.
In this post you will how she prayed, and this dua (prayer) made my heart smile. This dua was taught to her by her father, the Prophet of Islam (sawas.).
The dua (prayer): “O You the knowing of the unseen and the hidden secrets, the Obeyed, the Knower, O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, the Defeater of the parties for Muhammad, the Planner against the Pharaoh for Moses, the Saver of Jesus from the hands of the unjust, the Rescuer of Noah’s people from the drowning, the Merciful to Your servant Ya’qub (Jacob), the Reliever of Ayyoob’s distress, the Saver of Thinnoon (Jonah) from the darkness, the Doer of every good, the Guide to every good, the leader to every good, the Enjoiner on every good, the Creator of good, the Qualified for good, You are Allah; I have come to You for what you have known and You are the knower of the unseen, I ask You to have blessing on Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad.”
This dua touched my heart. As Allah (God) will help us from all evil. Allah (swt.) is all power over all.

Photography by AA As many know, there are amazing writings from the lighted book Nahjul Balagha; all his writings were compiled in this book, of the great author we all love, our beloved Imam Ali (as), the first (Shia) Imam. This sermon has more content to it, but I took an extract from it to share it with you.
How he describes Allah swt.: ” Praise be to Allah who is recognized without being seen and who creates without trouble. He created the creation with His Might and receives the devotion of rulers by virtue of his dignity. He exercises superiority over great men through His generosity. It is He who made His creation to populate the world and sent towards the jinn and human beings, His messengers to unveil it for them, to warn them of its harm, to present its examples, to show them its defects and to place before them a whole collection of matters containing lessons about the changing of health and sickness in this world, its lawful things and unlawful things and all that Allah has ordained for the obedient and the disobedient, namely, Paradise and Hell and honor and disgrace. I extend my praise to His Being as He desires His creation to praise Him. He has fixed for everything a measure, for every measure a time limit, and for every time limit a document.
In this short brief paragraph, you can learn so much about the creator! All though he has a brief paragraph in this sermon, but has more about Allah swt, in other sermons, indeed. As a person who believes in Allah (God) almighty, has many sentences that we can ponder about. I know many do not believe in Allah (God), or one has a different belief system about Allah (God), but this is our belief in Islam. Inshallah, if he wills, I will post more from his sermons from this ‘noorani’ (lighted) book.
To whoever is a non-Muslim brother and sisters, you may find it interesting and also learn our belief system, just for your knowledge, and of course for my Islamic brothers and sisters you and I can both learn from his writings, indeed.
Till Next time and next “my daily Noor” post, take care.

Remembering Imam Hussain (as)., not just in the month of Muharram but every day is a duty for us. He was and is our role model. It is really very astonishing that he is not mentioned in our history books like other heroes and other saviors. Yes, I know he is a religious figure to many, and many have written about many theological saints and saviors; but why not him? O’ how sad that he is not recognized as a great savior and a hero for the selfless sacrifice he gave, and what he stood for. I know many would argue that “we do not believe in Islam,” but many who are not even heroes are mentioned, and many other religious figures are recognized. The world should know more about him for who he was and is, a great Godly person. His life is not mentioned in any textbooks of schools or colleges of the world history! From the day he was born to the day he died is a life that one can learn from in every era of a human life. We learn so much from his sacrifice, his wounds of pain, physically and mentally, his stance, his patience, his bravery, his battle in defense, is so powerful for all mankind to learn. He is not recognized in the social norm as a great leader, a great human, a great Godly person. For us he is a great light, the great grandson of Prophet Muhammad sawas., and the son of Ali ibne abi Talib as., and Fatima Al Zahra sa., the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad sawas. It hurts my heart! And, because of social media many in this time have come to know who he was and is to this day. I am sure if one googles his name will come to know much about him and his sacrifice. He is not just a role model for Muslims but for all! I hope one day his name is mentioned and loved and respected in every heart as he deserves that and much more.
As you see in one of the photo’s above, the millions go there to Karbala Iraq, on the 10th of Muharram, and Arbaeen (the 40th day after his martyrdom). In this day and in this age, the hearts of many, not just the Shia Muslims, but many sects of Islam and many Christians go to pay love and respects as well. I have seen the love of Imam Hussain (as) in many Hindus of India as well. The other photo of the painting is done by (unknown) artist, I assume the lady is his sister in the painting of the plains of Karbala.
A ‘rose’ for you “O Hussaina.” I do not think we give justice each year to commemorate your martyrdom. “Every day is Ashoora and Every Land is Karbala.” There is so much to pen about your sacrifice, so much to learn about your life. Because of you I believe humanity is saved.
Until next time with more on our beloved Imam, inshallah (God Willing) take care till next Daily light!

Salam Everyone,
Today’s post is for our beloved Bibi Fatima (sa). The great Bibi resembled her father Prophet Muhammad (s.w.a.s.) in her looks, character, behavior, and conduct.
The Prophet (s.w.a.s) one day said: “Fatima (sa) is a piece (part) of me, whosoever tortures her he has tortured me, whosoever pleased her has pleased me.” And he also said: “ O Fatima, Allah (God) gets pleased on your being pleased and gets furious due to your unhappiness and displeasure.”We must contemplate on his words…
If Allah becomes displeased at her displeasure, we must reflect at the greatness of her position with Him. The Prophet’s saying “Fatima is a part of me” shows that she is the greatest lady of all. When she walked near him, the Prophet (s.w.a.s) would stand as a mark of respect. Can you imagine her last days? She was extremely sad and died unhappy with many of the Ummah. Fatima (s.a) willed that only her husband Imam Ali (a.s), along with a few other companions, must bury her at night. In these days of the Islamic calendar, we commemorate the death anniversary of our pure Fatima Al Zahra (s.a)

One of the Hadith of Rasool Allah (sawas), I loved as I was reading and thought I would share it with you.
“Eight groups of God’s servants will be the most detested of all on the Day of Judgement: LIARS, SELFISH PEOPLE, THOSE WHO MEET THEIR BROTHERS JOYFULLY WHILE RESERVING ENMITY FOR THEM IN THEIR HEARTS, THOSE WHO ARE SLOW IN ACCEPTING THE CALL TO GOD AND HIS PROPHET, BUT QUICK IN FLOLLOWING THE CALL TO SATAN, THOSE WHO RESORT TO SWEARING IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THER WORLDLY REQUESTS, THOUGH HAVING NO CLAIM TO IT, TALL-BEARERS, THOSE WHO CREATE DISCORD AMONG FRIENDS, AND THOSE WHO OPPRESS THE FALLEN INNOCENT PEOPLE and are called dirty by the Great , Merciful God.”
As a human being we must ponder on these words, because we should not be one of those people that Rasool Allah (sawas) described above. As many of us believe in the day of Judgement, we must not be one of those who Allah (swt) (GOD), detest.
Take care until next post of “My Daily Noor.”

“Bismillah….
Almighty Allah says:
Oh, Son of Adam! Behave with the people in good manners so that I may love you and put your love in the hearts of pious people; and I will forgive your sins.
Oh, Son of Adam! Put your hands on your head. Think: Whatever you like for yourself, like the same for others.
Oh, Son of Adam do not be grieved what you lose in this world.
Do not be happy with what you gain from this world.
Indeed, this world may be yours today, but tomorrow it will be for others. “
These are some of the paragraphs from this chapter of Hadis Al Qudsi. Indeed, these phrases are powerful. As humans we forget the concept of life. I often think of these phrases and reflect on them in every situation of my life. Each day if we remember these profound words then we may simply realize the core meaning of who a “man” or a “woman” should be. I think about them and contemplate every day of my life. The paragraph that hits me the most is “Indeed, this world may be yours today, but tomorrow it will be for others!” The light just hits me all the time with this phrase the Almighty Allah has said. Tears flow on my cheek as I reflect on His Words! This phrase has many meanings which I am sure you agree.
Until next post of light, please take care of yourself.
