Salam (Peace),
Today is a day of recuperating my thoughts, so I start my blog, with Bismillah in the name of Allah, I pen my daily Noor (light).
It is my honor to write my experiences of my journey of knowledge of my path of learning Islam, the way of life. In this blog you will see many different aspects of my writings, my photos, my art, my creations and my daily learning of my life. Maybe you might find it an interesting read, and it may help you in your vision of a Muslim women in a positive way.
As we always say “Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem,” whenever we start anything, ie. even when we get up from our bed in the morning, we say this beautiful dua (prayer). It is a beginning to a beautiful start! It means, In the name of God, most Beneficent, most Merciful. In one sentence it describes our lord in many, many ways. When I recite this dua often in my daily routine of life, it helps me to feel secure about myself as a human being first and then a woman! We are all beings, a creation, in my perception of life, and all of us needs a friend, a guardian, and a protector and what a way to start anything with him in your heart who is always there for you, every second of your human life. When you say “BISMILLAH…,” you are entering a part of “NOOR” (the Light) that will lead you in a peaceful manner. Let me begin with this dua, each day and each beginning, so that I may be secured in my daily tasks. This was just a small explanation of my small paragraph of this dua. There will be more to come on this subject as I continue.
